How To Use Your USB Flash Drive As A virtual RAM or how to ready boost using USB flash drive or pen drive , now a days 3 or 4 GB RAM is very common but if you still have 1 or 2GB RAM and getting slow your PC then here is a awesome method in Windows 7 (may be in vista) to use your USB flash drive or pendrive as a RAM , it will use your flash drive memory as RAM to speed up or ready boost your PC. So how to do this ? lets follow
Step 1.Plug your USB flash drive
Step 2.Go to My Computer now right click on your USB drive and click properties
Step 3.Under the ready boost tab select tick on "Use this device" then select your memory that you want to use then click apply
Step 4.It will take few second to configure your use drive , after this your usb flash drive is now virtual ram
Step 5.Now every time you plug this USB drive windows will automatically set this as a virtual ram
N.B: If you want to turn off this ready boost or speed up then again go the properties of your USB flash drive , and under the ready boost tab tick on do not use this device and click on apply.
